I recently overwrite Windows XP with Ubunto 12.10 and I mucked around with PLoP and I ended up getting a GNU GRUB screen.
I cannot re-install Windows XP because I only have a recovery disk and I got this error No Free Space found!
Is there a way I can get my Windows XP back?

Re: GNU GRUB start screen
So when you went to install Ubuntu, did you wipe the disk? Did you have to format the whole HDD and then install? If this is the case then no. If you had space left and created a seperate partition for Ubuntu, then wiped the MBR and override the Windows XP boot code, then that's a simple fix.allegro wrote:I recently overwrite Windows XP with Ubunto 12.10 and I mucked around with PLoP and I ended up getting a GNU GRUB screen.
