fix hdc windows script?

#1 Post by zephoid » Fri Jan 30, 2009 11:40 am

I seem to be having a problem that someone here might be able to solve. I have installed windows XP on my flash drive after changing a few entrys in the XP installer. Now i have the usual problem with the IDE controller causing blue screens every time i switch the USB to a different computer. I was wondering if there was a way to use the fix HDC script from UBCD to run in windows when i shut the computer down. i know how to run a script on shutdown using gpedit, but i dont know how to convert the script so it is usable in XP. any suggestions? or any other place i could post where people might know how to do this? i have looked around quite a bit on the internet and i dont know if anyone has ever done this.

I agree with Ice. UBCD4WIN forums might have someone who can help you there considering they deal more with the windows enviroment itself.
