Getting programs to run at startup of the UBCD 4 Win Shell

#1 Post by cktuba » Fri Apr 03, 2009 8:16 am

I have converted the UBCD to USB flash and would like to have certain programs and or batch files run on startup of the shell. Obviously, this is different than the process in Windows. Any suggestions? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This forum relates to "Ultimate Boot CD". I believe you are refering to "Ultimate Boot CD 4 Windows". If this is correct, their forums are located here: http://www.ubcd4win.com/forum/

And to give a short answer, you would add a batch file with the commands you want it to run, add it as a plugin and in the INF of this custom plugin you would then add it to the startup registry to run at boot. Then rebuild the iso. It's easy to do, but they can help you more out.

Thanks for the help, nobody on the UBCD 4 Win forum has responded yet. I'll give it a shot. Again, thanks for the help.
