UBCD is based on DOS/Linux and it a ready make ISO that you can burn to CD and your set.

UBCD4Win is a project that you download and use to create a Windows XP PE (Pre-installed Environment). You have to use XP source files from your CD, restore partition, etc. You then build an ISO that you burn to CD/DVD.

Both have advantages and disadvantages but both are excellent tools to use for PC diagnostics and/or repair.

I will give you a warning before you start with either -> If you don't know what a tool is used for or how it's used, read the instructions or ask before just make a blind selection. DBaN is a good example, you can loose your data with some of the tools. You have been warned!!!
