i'm pretty much a retard when it comes to software, but i am messing around with this program(which i have to say is outstanding) and i am trying to use the custom menu to add in my other programs, and change it up a little bit. i have winiso and after i extract the menu, change it, save it and put it back into the image... nothing changes. when i click on save, it saves it fine, but when i try to save it under a different name it crashes and the menu still has all of the default wording in it.... can anyone help me with this?

thanks in advance for any help

-sam

Are you using the trial or registered version of WinISO?
The WinISO FAQ says the trial version cannot save an ISO
greater than 100MB. You might want to try UltraISO, which
I *think* is fully functioning for 30 days.

Check your md5sum if you suspect the iso may
be corrupted.

Which .scn file(s) are you modifying?

was trying to modify the custom.scn but last night i tried to modify any of them and had the same results.

as for the md5sum file... what am i supposed to look for in it because it's got alot of crap there... ?if that's a noob question... don't laugh cause the only software i do is html and setting up cisco routers, (and i readily admit i'm a software tard) all my work is done on hardware.

At this point I'd try another ISO extractor such as
WinImage or UltraISO.

In order to verify the integrity of your ISO, you should
compare the md5sum with what's posted on the website.
Go to http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/download.html
and check out the MD5 column that matches the file you
downloaded.

In order to check the md5sum, you'll need a utility. I
use the command line utilities found in this package:
http://gnuwin32.sourceforge.net/packages/coreutils.htm
These are command line utils however, so if you feel more
comfortable with a GUI, search the web for a Windows
md5 generator.
