Re: UBCD V5.2.7 is available for download
I thought you were going to start using the mailing list to inform people like me when a new version is released?
The last e-mail I had was for version 5.2.5 and it was sheer coincidence that I came here today that I even knew that my version was totally out of date by a couple of months!

@hotlips69: Urgh, apologies, my bad! Will definitely remember to do this for the next release.
Re: UBCD V5.2.7 is available for download
I've had a quick look and it appears that Seatools for DOS may be a newer version now...it certainly looks different when I tried it.

Where exactly?hotlips69 wrote:I've had a quick look...
The versions that I see available in seagate's site are 1.12 and 2.20/2.23, which are the same versions available in UBCD 5.2.7. Unless Seagate changed the content of those files while leaving the same file names, I don't see any update available; but perhaps I am not looking in the right place

Re: UBCD V5.2.7 is available for download
Not sure if I need to start a new topic, but...
Is there any reason to keep this file "boot/syslinux/ldlinux.sys" in the UBCD? I've read the SYSLINUX documentation and I am sure that ldlinux.sys is not used by ISOLINUX in any way. And ldlinux.sys are automatically generated by SYSLINUX installer (when using UBCD2USB). So there's no need to keep it in the "CD". Am I right?

Re: UBCD V5.2.7 is available for download
@hotlips69, Isn't that a Windows (not DOS) version?
@Explorer09,
IMHO, I would keep it included there.
For future UBCD:
[EDIT2013NOV25]
_ DBAN 2.2.8 - 2013Nov22
Note: _Every_ release of DBAN is called "beta".
[/EDIT2013NOV25]
[EDIT2013NOV26]
_ ASTRA 6.12 - 2013NOV26
[/EDIT2013NOV26]
@Explorer09,
ISOLINUX itself doesn't need ldlinux.sys. OTOH, I have seen enough situations where having also ldlinux.sys (in addition to isolinux.bin) would be helpful; as long as both files correspond to the same version of Syslinux.Explorer09 wrote: Is there any reason to keep this file "boot/syslinux/ldlinux.sys" in the UBCD?
