Just curious; do viruses get removed when you use the McAfee plug in or does it just scan? This question applies to both FAT and NTFS.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, for FAT partitions.

No, for NTFS partitions, since the NTFS module is read-only.

Thanks Victor, your response is greatly appreciated. Just to confirm:

1) Scan and removal works on FAT
2) Scan may work (read only) but won't be able to remove viruses.
