After using UBCD : Computer don't boot on its own HDD

#1 Post by Elenaher » Fri May 18, 2007 1:30 am

Hello,

I am a newbie in windows issues ( i'm a mac-user ). After using UBCD, i can't reboot with the internal HDD ( message : "Non bootable volume found" or something like that ) ( but I can still boot in bios ( the problem does not come from the order of devices in boot options ) ).

In UBCD I used some tools of navigation/linux or dos boot but I haven't changed anything on the internal HDD...
The only thing that seemed strange to me is that I had to boot in "defensive mode" to make tools like FreeDos work... In all cases something is wrong in booting config...

Please help me ^

( sorry for my mistakes in english )

I finally solved the problem. There was a minor error of config in the bios... Sorry for this post...
