CuteMouse 2.1 beta

#1 Post by Gezmen » Fri May 25, 2007 5:04 am

Hello.

Since there is now a new version of CuteMouse at http://www.coli.uni-saarland.de/~eric/ctmouse21b.zip as announced at http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?forum_id=695079, you may consider updating the one in the UBCD compilation. New version might be better than the older one.

Regards.

I guess it would be safer to keep a non-beta version, anyway it's up to Victor ... or whoever provides the boot floppy images.

Actually it is the version 1.9.1 alpha 1 in the current UBCD's boot floppy images. Hence, I thought a later beta version could be somewhat better than an older alpha version. But of course it's up to Victor.

You are right that 2.x was another branch. However, if you check the changes of v2.1 from v2.0, it states "Replaced hardware PS/2 by BIOS PS/2 handling again for better compatibility."

That is, the handling method of v1.9.1 alpha 1 is reintroduced in this latest version, which has a wheel support as well. :)
