Problem using bughunter
Hi, the program is easy enough to use, but I can't seem to make any changes to the bughunt.ini file. When I try to 'save and exit' it just asks me to 'lose changes' and if I say N it doesn't do anything. It uses the Slim text editor. The other functions seem to work.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks in advance.

Yes, there is. Under: Other Tools, Anti-Virus/Malware Tools. It has been added only in V4.x, I think.
I am a little puzzled with the part about editing bughunt.ini using "Slim text editior". What's that?
Are you trying to edit the file after you boot into FreeDOS, or edit the file before rebuilding the ISO image? Please clarify.

Oops
Well, I just tried to run it in a virtual machine (MS VPC2004) from an UBCD411.iso and I get an error message saying "Signature files are damaged. BugHunter requires new ones."

BugHunter Updated! v2.2d
Hi Guys, I'm hoping this is submitted in time for the next .iso release.
v2.2d has been released, it contains a few tweaks and a new routine which will try to neuter malicious executables prior to the deletion request. In some cases, depending on the file rights, it's possible to write to a file even if it can't be deleted at the time. This will effectively neutralize the offending software.
You can get it at the site:

thanks again.
