UBCD4Win 3.1.10a asks for a password

#1 Post by hal8000 » Mon Oct 01, 2007 12:43 am

I've just downloaded UBCD for windows and burnt the ISO onto a CDRW.

If I insert the cd into a running windows operating system, the start menu changes so I know I'm in a BartPE environment, and the menues reflect the UBCD disk.

If I boot the disk live, I get the message
starting UBCD...
Password:

At this stage I cannot access the UBCD and cannot get past this screen.
I havent set a password, I have tried my user and admin windows passwords and still cannot get past this stage

The esc key restarts my computer.
There should not be a password AFAIK, the only thing I changed before making the ISO was the plugins button and Enable Boot password.

Maybe this is the answer but how do I change this?
Thanks in advance

Ok, please ignore above, when I went to plugins and configure, the password by default is UBCD4Win

Plus there has never been a 3.1.10a version of UBCD... and this is not the support forum for UBCD4Win :p
