I don't have an idea for a mascot,but I have something else for you.
The Ultimate Boot CD picture (text black to red to yellow) can have a nicer gradient. It is to pixelled now.

I like to see a new icon file, instead of the ugly cd icon (which is on the root of the iso).

Can you design an antivirus icon (png) with dimensions of 48x48 pixels, and with the pixels that aren't used are transparant? I need it a generic antivirus icon to include it in the Parted Magic part of ubcd. It has to come in the botom panel.

No problem on the icons, those are easy

About the logo, should I just make it an unpixeled gradient, make the yellow part like flames, change the font, etc?

An unpixeled gradient is a nice start. But you can try the flames, ... too. It will be Victors decision, which picture he wants to use.

When you open the link, the icons look huge, click the icon once so it goes to original size, then right click and save as... you know the rest

The logo is a little bit better, but think it can be better. The gradient doesn't look so smooth, the border of the characters neither. A higher resolution will solve this, I think. Now you can see the different pixels to good. Can you try your flame dea?
Also make a version of the "UBCD" picture for the forum:

Can you also make a ico file for the cd image, which gets displayed in explorer when you insert the disk? It look now like a CD drive with a CD (it is in the root of the cd.

For Mersenne Prime Test and Stresscpu2, no icon has to be made. I incorporated those programs in the cpustress image which has only a text interface (it boots faster). Sorry for that.

I like the idea of the antivirus icon (1e one). Maybe the red cross can be bigger or look like the red part of the following picture:

Maybe you can change the letter that the virus is eating to something different (more 'file' like, whatever that means )
