#1 Post by SuperJustin321 » Tue May 19, 2009 12:24 pm

My brothers computer was acting funny so downloaded the UBCD and burned that to a disk then started the Windows XP SP5 up and choose a boot device(the cd drive) then i pressed enter to boot up the UBCD and found the antivirus program and it scaned the C: Restore and 1 of its files is corrupt so it will not load up the restore files to fix the computer and to top it off it will not boot up any way i try to boot it up even with the cd i have tryed(when it was working) to use system restore but about half way it would reboot but not all the way. I have also tried to use my norton 2002 on it but as it was about to qurinten the file with the virus it would reboot but not all the way. and now when ever it trys to boot up it says Bootsector write!!! Virus Contnue(sorry if spelled wrong):Y/N then i choose yes but it would look like it is working fine but half a second later it would go to a blue screen then reboot to fast for me to read a word but it would not reboot all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
