My pen drive suddenly stopped working. No computer is recognizing it. How to extract my data from it? I inserted my pen drive into usb port of my friend's computer. Computer did not recognize pen drive and it was very hot when i ejected it. After that incident i,ve tried pen drive on difeerent computers but its not being recognized. Pl help me and tell me the way to extract my data.

If you can't get the unit to be recognized by any PCs you put it in you are going to have a problem. You can send the drive to a company that does recovery by removing the chips but that may not work either. Some USB drive manufacturers have tools but some are hard to find and still, if the drives isn't recognized how are you going to select the drive for testing/diagnosing?
