Hi everybody,

i would like to put a splashscreen like in ubcd 4.1.1
splash.rle in /cdrom/boot (640*442) and splash.lss in /cdrom/boot/isolinux

and how to emulate iso

i successfully add acronis 9.7.8026 - iso file - for ubcd 3.4
if you decompress this iso, you won't have the acronis boot menu anymore
and you'll end up with acronis true image only (no universal restore - no secure mode - no disk director suite- etc)

like GEEXBOX 1.2.2
i successfully add geexbox 1.1 - decompressed directory - for ubcd 4.1.1
but witch ubcd 5.0 - it doesn't work anymore

in custom.cfg for ubcd 4.1.1
KERNEL /GEEXBOX/boot/vmlinuz
APPEND initrd=/GEEXBOX/boot/initrd.gz root=/dev/ram0 rw rdinit=linuxrc boot=cdrom lang=fr remote=leadtek receiver=leadtek keymap=azerty splash=silent vga=789 video=vesafb:ywrap,mtrr quiet

what i have now in user-defined:
- Active@ Kill Disk Pro 4.1
- Memtest86 2.01
- Norton Ghost 2003
- Norton Ghost 11.5
- Norton Ghost 11.5 Linux
- NTFSDos Pro 5
- Partition Commander 9.01
- Partition Magic 8.05
- Ubuntu 9.04 Live CD
- Win98 boot disk

Thanks for your help

A development version of MEMDISK supports isoemulation.
It will be added to the next release of UBCD.

You can download it from:

Download Ultimate Boot CD v5.0:
Use Parted Magic for handling all partitioning task:
