How to store a MBR file to an USB floppy drive
I tried to save the MBR file onto an USB floppy drive via the MBR-Tool on the UBCD 5.0RC2. Everything worked fine. But when I try to copy the mbr_back.128 file onto the floppy it's only copied to drive a:\ which seems to be a RAM disk. How can I copy it to the physical FD?

Since it's a USB floppy drive, you probably need to enable USB support during booting of FreeDOS (or type "usb" from the command prompt). As long as you can get a drive letter on the USB floppy drive, you will be able to copy the file to it.
But USB support under DOS is quite flaky. So try your luck and tell us your experience.

Thanks StopSpazzing I've found a solution to my problem. The problem was to find the correct drive letter for the FD. Via try and error I finally found it.

I did noticed the USB floppy drive, but for some odd reason, didn't think this would be the problem here.
Glad you have it working hike39.
