#1 Post by Laslo » Wed Aug 18, 2010 7:58 am

Hello,

Thanks in advance for your help, I really appreciate the free time people put into these types of forums. I have download UBCD502, and used IMGBurn to Write the ISO file to disc I got a message when trying to boot that reads: Initial menu has no LABEL entries! boot

Thanks,

Laslo

Verify that your ISO was burned correctly (check checksum):

Icecube,

Thanks for the help. I downloaded the iso from several different mirrors and ended up getting several different file sizes, none of them were correct. I was able to get the right size and verify the file.

Thanks again, :)

Can you tell which mirrors had the wrong file?
Do you have a unstable internet connection?
Downloading the ISO via bittorrent, will ensure that you have the right file (bittorrent use internal checksumming, and will redownload the wrong transfered parts).
Download Ultimate Boot CD v5.0: http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/download.html
Use Parted Magic for handling all partitioning task: http://partedmagic.com/
