I was given this CD to repair my sons computer and I have NO idea how to use this disk. My sons computer wouldn't start windows,I put in the disk and started the computer now I am in a screen and don't know where to go or how to fix my sons pc. If anyone would be so kind as to help me out, I would greatly appreciate it. TIA!

Could you elaborate more on "windows wont start"? Is there a specific error that shows? What exactly happens when you try starting the system normally?

The more information you provide, the better the help will be. Such useful information is: which version of windows (98,ME, XP, Vista,7) he is using, what kind of computer it is (brand, model #, etc), and the age of the computer can help too.
