Ultimate Boot CD

I have a drive that showed a Windows error of "Unreadable master file table". I used UBCD to run Seatools on the Maxtor drive and the short and long test both failed.

Any suggestions on how to fix/repair this drive so I can get the data off would be very appreciated.

Run the following from the recovery console:

If both the long and short tests fail, it sounds like there is some hardware error with the HDD.

Normally, I would send it in for replacement if it is still under warranty.

The data recovery is gonna be quite tricky....
