read/write to NTFS
This seems like an abvious question, but here goes: There are several free toos to read and write to NTFS drives from dos. But I do not see any of them in the UBCD. Why not, and how DO you read/write to NTFS after booting with this disk? More generally, how does this disk handle the problem of different PCs having all kinds of different drivers for hardware?
Re: read/write to NTFS
Most of those tools that can read and/or write from/to NTFS are quite buggy.
Using a linux distro with ntfs-3g support (almost every distro has it), is the best way to access (read/write) NTFS filesystems.
You can use Parted Magic (included in UBCD) to do that.
