Starting Problem

Hey there,
After having downloaded the CD und burned it i was trying to run it. However, no graphic environment appeared, but only the CD-Shell. I searched in the manuals but couldnt find a command to start the menu for choosing further options. Also, /help or --help in the CD Shell didnt work to figure out a command to start the menu.
What have I done wrong??
