I ran bios through the Linux cd it says monitor is set to VGA. I plugged it into my laptop (second computer) it works fine. So I think windows just won't boot up. Thank you for your help

I ran the the linux boot cd and ran the anti virus software that with Noron tell me there are no virus's on my computer. I set the monitor to default nothing, I went into the monitor settings and set it to VGA then it said no input signal. This certain HP has to have VGA and HDMI cables to the monit...

I tried this. When I first start the computer there is a window that says VGA acitve HDMI not active the screen then turns black and there is a white cursor in the top right corner. This has happened in the past if I leave the computer on in a few days it just starts working. I cannot load my monito...

Monitor problem
I just used the boot cd and now am running the anti virus . My computer crashed and my monitor continues to say it is in sleep mode. Windows cannot be seen due to the HDMI not establishing. I cannot use windows and do not know what to do next??? Does anyone know how to help me? I am running windows ...
