I came here to say the same thing.

EASEUS Disk Copy 2.3 is only 31.1 MB, it seems pointless burning a whole disk for just that.

Parted Magic is outdated, on UBCD 5.0b12 you have v3.8, they have v4.3 out now.

It includes lots more and fixes lots of bugs.

Certain apps like gparted, when you hit enter to run, they don't do anything...

Is there a quick and easy AND PROPER way to test optical drives, ideally just CD-ROM's.

I have plenty of them but i'd like to test them to make sure they are working as they should, to make sure data transfer is not corrupt, and to see what speed they copy at.

I'd like a method so I can boot up and view all the system's information... Ideally... CPU type CPU speed Amount of RAM Hard drives and Space Which network card exists (maybe?) Operating System Installed (maybe?) Any idea if such information can be displayed on boot, also does anything already exist...

I need the best software to use to copy from computer (hard drive) to computer (hard drive) using tcp/ip, also note that one system has a sata hard drive.
