Ultimate Boot CD

Do you happen to know if it functions the same as the one used in the Windows XP recovery console? I ran it to see how it works, but I'm not sure if the /r flag was working or not.

Anyone know how to make accessible the Windows XP recovery console?

EDIT: Or what would be the best way going about doing a chkdsk /r without an XP cd?
