I found out, that I can't copy any data to this stick, because booting from it stops working after this operation...
Is that true?

I made it, finally...
makebootfat -v -o %DEVNAME% -Z -Y -F -b ldlinux.bss -m mbrfat.bin -c "%1\syslinux\ldlinux.sys" -x "%1\boot.catalog" %1
this code worked for me
mbrfat.bin taken from old reblu's ubcd2usb package
