How to update Freedos to v1.0 in UBCD?

So I want to incorporate the new Freedos v1.0 in UBCD, but tried to append fdboot.img in the /data folder in Freedos 1.0, but UBCD doen't boot from it. D...

I tried Imdisk in Windows XP, but when I mounted dosubcdhd.img, its file system could not be recognized. I tried WinImage and added files to dosubcdhd.img, its not bootable from UBCD. I tried to mount the image in SLAX following your instruction, SLAX said ./dosubcdhd is busy. When I opened the ./do...

Thank you so much ~ I added the files, rezip it as dosubcdhd.img.gz, copy it to /images/dosubcd.igz, but freedos still doesn't start up in UBCD. Is my way wrong? Without any additional files added in dosubcdhd.img, I zipped it and send it to /images/dosubcdhd.igz, freedos is still not bootable. Have...

how to expand dosubcd.img and make it still bootable?
I was trying to expand dosubcd.img to ~10Mb so that I can put more files in. I tried to "Change format...->select custom image format" in WinImage and expended dosubcd.img to ~10Mb. I re-zipped dosubcd.img to dosubcd.igz in /images. But now FreeDos is no longer bootable. Any help would be ...

Simply put, the PDK folder has syscfg.exe, which can change the BIOS configuration; and edidos.exe, which alters the OEM serial number. I don't think this info is very important though, since what I want is just to expand the size limit of the dosubcd.img AND have it working as usual, i.e. bootable ...

How can i make dosubcd.img bigger so that i can put files in
i want to put a 20MB file in dosubcd.img so that I can run it when freedos boots. However, dosubcd.img has a size limit of 2.88MB. How can I expand the limit? I tried UltraISO and WinImage, neither works for me.

How to change Baud Rate to let remote console displays right
I am using console redirection using a serial port. The default baud rate is 2400. So my remote console displays correctly only when it's set to 2400. But somehow I need to change the baud rate to 9600. I added a statement at the line of config.sys mode com1 baud=9600 parity=n data=8 stop=1 But the ...
