now with the new ubcd memdisk won't load the image just freezes. What error message(s) does memdisk output (if any)? Also, what command are you using in isolinux to launch? it should read something similar to this: LABEL - MENU LABEL <PROGRAM NAME> KERNEL memdisk APPEND initrd=/ubcd/images/<IMAGE N...

Unless I'm very much mistaken, Winimage CLI doesn't support a bootable switch (odd). You need to use this: http://www.nu2.nu/mkbt/ MKBT It supports transferring a bootsector to floppy images. This allows you to create a bootable 2.88MB floppy image without needing a 2.88MB floppy drive. Usage: mkbt ...

No worries. However, I would strongly advise against using Vista as a Live CD (XP is more than sufficient, not to mention, smaller by comparison). Again, UBCD4WIN uses such a set up to achieve what you're looking for.

Yeah, same thing.

I agree, VPC2007 is shaky with Linux VMachines. Some distributions works, others simply fail.

Exactly as i quoted, yes. I tried upping the virtual memory for VPC2007 but it failed miserably (it crashes the program).
