well if you aren't afraid to lose data you can always just reformat the partition, that should fix it if all u messed up was partitioning

Maybe try making a new boot cd? Also make sure that ur BIOS is set to boot from cd first. Otherwise I'm not sure... i would like to install ubcd onto my 2gb memory stick. i only run ubuntu 9.04 (linux), and know my way around the terminal a bit. i also would like to do this manually (so a .bat file doesn't do it for me cuz i want to learn and maybe use the same procedure later for other things).
