I tried this again now.

When it boots from the USB drive, the screen is blank, when I press enter, it comes back and asks for a password... Then there is junk charakters in the one corner...

Nope I tried this again. I used the HP-USB tool to format my USB device

When I boot it from the USB drive, it does not even bring the menu up, when I press enter, it ask me fpr a password...

I will create it again, I am on V4 again.

What I can remember is that it bopots but there is no menu at all.

when I create a USB boot device with UBCD50b12, it boots fine, but does not bring the menu up.

Guys, I tried this again, made a new USB boot, and reset the admin password. It does not work. Any ideas?

I get to the stage to change it, I then select * for a blank password, quit etc. But it still does not work. Looks like it does not save the change. When I quit, and try to save it comes back to say it canot load something...

I have downloaded the latedt beta 512 I think, when I make the USB boot drive, it works fine, but when I boot a pc with it, it boots, then I get a password prompt? can anyone help?

Can I also make a USB boot drive with version 5 the same way as version 4?

Is there a guide of the tools included and how to use them. I see there are posts thay use F3 or F6, ow can I learn about the diffreent tools in UBCD?

I have a Vista machine that I forgoten the admin password. I have the UBCD that I created a boot disk on a USB drive, is there a tool I can run with it to reset the admin password?
