Re: Clonezilla integration
Unless between 502 and 503 the Grub4DOS system has been changed, the following should help you (as its the code I use in 502): title CloneZilla\n Load CloneZilla to backup or restore your hard drive. kernel /ubcd/custom/CloneZilla/live/vmlinuz live-media-path=/ubcd/custom/CloneZilla/live bootfrom=/d...

Re: Update chain.c32: Possible Windows booting bug solved
Ah, okay. So when I tell Grub4Dos something like this: map /ubcd/custom/AVGRescue.iso (hd32) map --hook chainloader (hd32) It invokes chain.c32 , which contains info on how to find, determine and call the boot sector of the particular image? If you want to boot Windows based ISO's directly (grub4dos...

Re: Update chain.c32: Possible Windows booting bug solved
So what sort of error does this get you around? To be perfectly honest with you I have no idea what chain.c32 (or any .c32 file) does =/ The only problems I've had with booting Windows "live" CDs is a corrupt NTLDR which I fixed by using the one from my XP rather than the extracted install...

Re: AVG Rescue CD
...maybe someone could help my get it integrated as a userdefined?...Can anybody give a hint? Sure thing. But I can do better than a hint. So long as you're willing to use Grub4Dos (custom.lst) I can give you this which I have used for a while and works perfectly: title 6) AVG Rescue CD (Anti-Virus...

Re: Windows XP Setup CD integration
I know no-one has made a post in the last few days, but in case you haven't got it working I thought I'd chip in. Is there a way to do something similar, but that works?... I've never seen a Linux-based ISO work from being chainloaded, that tends to be a Windows/DOS thing. Instead, find where the ke...

I know its been a while since anything was said on this thread, but could you please posts your code for booting BitDefender? I'm currently trying to add it to UBCD and no matter what I try it can't find the KNOPPIX filesystem and so cannot mount the root filesystem, then drops to a limited shell! T...

I had this idea before looking through these forums and I can tell you from [my lack of Grub4Dos/Linux] experience that Icecube is wrong when he says it isn't that hard. It took me the best part of 20 hours over 3 days to find the right combination of boot parameters! In case you haven't got yours w...
