But I prefer it to be in My Documents folder {with all my other worthy programs}. Well it's up to you, but I wouldn't store this kind of things on the same partition as the system (I guess your "My Documents" folder is there, unless you moved it ... ). Anything valuable should be on anoth...

There might be a generic secret password to access the BIOS if you don't know the one that was set by the user, if I were you I'd try that first. You may also have a look at this : http://www.cgsecurity.org/cmospwd.txt If nothing like this seems to work, you might open it (hey, careful with laptops ...

I had to test it recently on a W2K system, didn't seem to do anything :/bldrdash wrote:Offline NT Password and Registry Editor, on the UBCD, has worked great for me.
