What source files did you use?

Did you add any driver packs or add any other plugins?

What are the system specs for the PC that your booting? Will it boot to any other systems?

Any errors when attempting to boot? What is it doing?

Do you have video corruption when running Mac OSX and can you boot any other live distros?

If you have any other compatible video cards you can try swapping that out just for testing purposes.

The iMac I have is PowerPC so can't use on that but you have a chance, I couldn't confirm though.

Some more information would be helpful.

What did you download? UBCD or UBCD4Win?

As you say you spent time finding the "ISO" I'm going to AssUMe UBCD. Did you get a menu at all when it booted?

What are you booting it on? BIOS or UEFI? Model number would help a lot.

What model of laptop? Is it running BIOS or UEFI? If it is running UEFI you can try changing the CSM settings but this may not help.

What is it you are trying to do?

Try booting to another "Live" CD/DVD/USB to see if you can at least get something to load. Can you get into BIOS/UEFI without a crash? Heating issues can often cause odd behavior.

It will keep running until you stop it. I usually ran these programs for 10-12 hours and sometimes more just to check stability of the system. If the system hasn't crashed it's usually stable.

UEFI support is currently buggy at best as most of the tools in UBCD are designed for BIOS based systems.

You can search the forum for some suggestions regarding CSM settings to try to get it to boot but still not sure what programs/tools are going to work correctly if at all.
