Reinstall OS but no admin username/password

I need to install XP over Windows 2000 on a laptop to allow creation of new admin username and password.
I have the UBCD in my drive and reboot. It booted into Windows 2000 like before and asked me for username and password which I could only enter a no-admin-privilege one.
How can UBCD help me with this problem, if it indeed can?
Any info will be greatly appreciated.
