I forgot my password for my laptop, so downloaded UBS for XP onto a disc.
I turn on my laptop but it won't load the disc and continues straight to asking me for my password.
I pressed F12 went to BIOS and put boot from CD/DVD first. I tried rebooting but it still goes straight to asking me for my password.
Does this sound like a dodgy disc download or am I missing something please?
Thanks.

Re: UBS CD not booting
Take out the HDD of the computer, if it still doesnt try to boot the cd/dvdrom drive then the bios settings are not saving or not right. You could try a factory settings reset and see if that fixes the issue.
