How to add large ISO images to ubcd

#1 Post by saviodsouza » Tue Oct 26, 2010 4:01 am

Hi friends, :D

I am currently using UBCD 5.0.2 and wish to add large ISO images to my custom.cfg file.

I can't add 'avlinux4.1-lxde-i386-en.iso' which is about 1.96 GB. When I boot ubcd and select this image in custom I see the doted progress and after a short while I it gives a error 'not enough memory to load image'.

Is there another way to load such Live CDs

You could extract it to custom folder and then add a menu item linking to the isolinux.cfg file so it would load the system. May require you to put several files at the root of the drive tho.

Why not list the contains of the ISO for us? Would make things easier.
