FAULT WHEN TRYING TO BOOT UBCD TO DELL NOTEBOOK

#1 Post by Hackerman43 » Thu Jul 14, 2011 8:15 am

I'm trying to get a clean boot on a Dell Latitude E5420, using UBCD version 3.22 or 5.0 The notebook boots to the CD load screen scroll bar "Loading UBCD FOR WINDOWS" then I get the blue screen of computer death with the message and error "A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer", the rest of the verbage you see on the blue screen and ends with Technical information:
*** STOP: 0x0000007B (0Xf78CE528,XC0000034,0x00000000,0x00000000)
Both CDs were made using WIN XP Pro SP 2.
This is a new notebook with WIN 7 OS, has anyone made a WIN 7 UBCD?
