This question should be answered

This is a typical scenario, i use a boot diskette and with the fdisk and format tools i create the partitions and format the drives to be ready to install any operating system.... But how to do the same task using UBCD?

From the FAQ:

Question: Does the Ultimate Boot CD include FDISK?

Nope. I was afraid if I did that Micro$oft might send their secret police after me! :-) But you can use Ranish Partition Manager, which is a very nice and capable substitute for FDISK. Or you could boot the FreeDOS image, which includes the FreeDOS version of FDISK.

You need to customize the CD and include your own disk image that does
what you want.

Formatting a HDD involves writing specific filesystem information to a
partition. With DOS, you could typically only format FAT16 or FAT32
filesystems. I have not heard of any freeware DOS tool that will allow
you to format NTFS filesystems, not even with NTFSDOS.

I am not the expert here, but you might have better luck with
INSERT/UBCD, since Linux had traditionally been very strong in support
various filesystem types.

This information from another topic in the forum:
If you run UBCD Full, with Insert, you can run Qtparted which
is a Partition Magic clone; from there you can create/resize/
delete partitions, even NTFS.
Besides creating an NTFS partition, you can also format the NTFS partition, which is what you need.

Thanks to bldrdash, the original contributor for INSERT/UBCD for posting this tip!

Las question about it

thx for the feedback, but what about formating from UBCD a partition with FAT32 file system....

I need to solve this because i dont have a Operating System boot CD, and my computer does not have a floppy drive, so my only option is UBCD boot CD...

I believe Qtparted can handle FAT32 partitions as well...
