Problem getting UBCD started on my notebook

#1 Post by chrisssteeven » Sat Feb 13, 2010 1:04 am

Hi,
I am having a problem getting UBCD started on my notebook. If the answer to this is already posted I appologize, but I haven't been able to find it.I am using Vista Home Premium, a new Turion64, and everything is working quite well.I am installing 3.10, and all is ok till I launch UBCD4WinBuilder.exe (in C:\ubcd4win folder). At that point I get a popup error message, actually an "Administrator Check", which tells me "Sorry This program requires administrator privileges".i have not seen such an error before.Any help.
Thanks

Vista sometimes requires you to run applications as an administrator. Try right clicking on the app and choose 'run as administrator'.
