isolinux: Found something at drive

I'm using UBCD 3.4 on a Toshiba laptop. Boots o.k. to menu, but each application results in a page full of messages:
isolinux: Found something at drive = 9A
isolinux: Found something at drive = 9F
isolinux: Found something at drive...

etc.

A previous post by someone else several months ago received no reply.

Anybody have any suggestions about what's happening and how to fix it?
