I am getting this and cannot log into Windows at all (XP Pro, SP2). As I understand it, I need to make a change to the registry, but can't figure out how to do it with UBCD. I get to the point where I enter the registry path and have no idea what to enter at the "Select which part of registry to load...". I need to edit the LargeSystemCache setting in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session
Manager\Memory Management to "0", but everytime I try to get to the LargeSystemCache, no matter what I type in, it takes me back to "Please select partition...".
Can anyone lay out step by step how to make the change?
Aces.

Why do you think you need to edit the registry to get back in? I suggest trying chkdsk /r off the XP Pro CD's recovery console before registry editing.notdave wrote:I am getting this and cannot log into Windows at all (XP Pro, SP2).
