Ultimate Boot CD

Hi,
I cant get any of the antivirus programs to work. After a couple of seconds of scan my computer hangs. In AVG I get a string of hex and a 'PANIC' message saying something about invalid strings and that 'system is halted'. In the other antivirus progs they just hang without error message.

Any clues??

Are you booting UBCD, UBCD4Win or some other Live Environment or are you running these from your installed OS?

What is your installed OS?

What are your system specs (manufacturer/model)?

What specific issue(s) are you having?
