I can't System Restore, Will UBCD V5.0B6 help?

#1 Post by Advice Pro » Wed Mar 24, 2010 3:07 pm

My OS is Win Vista Home premium and I can't System Restore because at Advanced Boot Option, selecting Repair Your Computer doesn't repair and give options, but instead boots Windows up again. I don't have the installation disc for Vista, but my PC did come with a restoration partion.

So can UBCD V5.0B6 help me?

No, it wont help; but have you tried pressing f8 and going into safe mode and then system restore?

On the Advanced Boot Options screen, use the arrow keys to highlight Repair your computer, and then press ENTER. (If Repair your computer is not listed as an option, then your computer does not include the System Recovery Options menu as a preinstalled recovery option.)
If your computer is under warranty, could called the Manufacturer and ask them questions. Or just use the recovery partition...after backing up all your data.
