i need someone to tell me what program on the UBCD i need to use to get a Dos command prompt that works with a NTFS file system. I need to delete a file off my HD and i'm having trouble loading a DOS prompt that supports NTFS...any help would be greatly appreciated!

You could just boot to Parted Magic and use that. I've used Knoppix, Parted Magic and several other Linux distros over the years to delete files from Windows systems with no problem.

Just boot the CD and on the first menu select Parted Magic. Once started, open Emel file manager and navigate to the directory and delete. You may have to mount the drive first though, I don't recall but I think a shortcut is on the desktop.
