can the UBCD help me with a blue screen error?
Hi i have a blue screen error and when ever i try to reboot my pc i get the same error. is there anything on this cd that can help me with blue screens? i know i can always reformat, but i have valuable files on the computer that I would hate to lose. and if there is a program, could you explain what i have to do thanks!

There are no utilities on the UBCD that will assist
in BSOD (Blue screen of Death) errors. The only
util that might help would be ASR (Automatic system
recovery), off the Windows installation CD.
UBCD does have utils for hard drive diagnostics which can
help you determine if the drive itself has problems or if
it's the Windows load itself.
To troubleshoot BSOD errors, google BSOD.
UBCD and UBCDWin can provide an environment so that you
can copy files off the hard drive however. In your case
UBCDWin might be your best option for this.

I assume you're using UBCD Windows; if that's the case it's best to post on their forums.
I don't recall what File Managers they use, something like A3 is one they include. It would contain an interface similar to Explorer which should allow
you to copy files (assuming you have a place to copy them to).

A memory stick should be supported, but I also think they
may include a cd writer application.
