Formatting menus (.scn)

#1 Post by CleaverX » Wed Jun 15, 2005 1:28 pm

Hello all, Mr Newbie here. I am anjoying the UBCD, and now that I got the hang of it, I want to add some stuff to it. No problem getting the add ins to work, but what is stomping me is the formatting in the menus. After I made changes to my 'custom.scn' I get this annoying black line coming halfway along an otherwise solid CYAN screen. I have tried messing with the quotation marks, but I only made it worse.
Can anyone explain a few do's and don'ts, rules of thumb so to speak to keep the nice colored formatting nice and neat? I supposed if I messed with it long enough I will eventually figure it out, but hey this is what the forums are for.
Thanks in advance

The guideline is:

- There must be exactly 80 characters (between the quotes, including
spaces) in each line.

- There must be exactly 24 such lines (with quoted content).

If you are still having problems, email your SCN file to me and I will
help you spot the error.
