I have a somewhat crippled system that need a restore boot.
The computer only have a floppy drive, harddisk, and USB (No CD) so I'm trying to boot ubcd from the USB but then the BIOS can't boot from the USB directly.
I've tried with various bootdisks (XP install disks--only recovery console/ msdos disks--- no USB support/third party rescue diskettes-- no testdisk or ntfs support)
I've been looking for boot disks with the software needed (at least testdisk) but have an added problem I have ditched the floppy drive in any other computer around and this old computer is the only with one(thanks $Deity).
So I'm looking for a boot disk that let me boot from the floopy and then load the usb drive with ubcd the way that does loadlin.
Need to boot from usb but the bios won't let me
