Can someone tell me what program in UCBD will unlock a drive.
Have tried all kinds of wiping out tools. Loaded Win XP and it will completely load but when I reboot it goes back to "DMI pool data"

Used SeaTools for Dos V1.09 and passed short test. but it says drive is security locked and Smart has been Tripped (what does that mean).

Are you sure that "'lock" is not just a jumper that you have to move on the drive itself ?

go to hddguru.com and get the low level formatting tool...use it on the drive in question. I cleared and deleted the HPA from a drive and it locked me out...was at a loose end until i found the LLF tool...cleared the drive and gave me back all the space from he HPA:)
