Hello and I appreciate your help.

I can make the ISO fine from the root of C:

But I prefer to have all my tech files in my documents folder under another folder called Help Desk.

However, ubcd2iso has issues with my syntax. I've tried everything. I've put the the path like: UBCD2iso "C:\documents and settings\username\My Documents\Help Desk\ubcddos" "c:\ubcd411.iso" and I get a an error "and was not expected."

Can anyone help me?

Well there is probably some path to change in the batch for it to work, or it must be run from within the directory where it is (I recall reading something about it :hmm: )

The spaces in the path names are causing the problem.

I will see if I can fix up the batch file in the next release to handle that.

I gave it my best shot.

I had even tried going by dos 8.3 character limitation. Just couldn't get it to work, but if I moved it to the root of c:\ in a folder called ubcddos. It would work.

But I prefer it to be in My Documents folder {with all my other worthy programs}.

Well it's up to you, but I wouldn't store this kind of things on the same partition as the system (I guess your "My Documents" folder is there, unless you moved it ... ). Anything valuable should be on another partition, and burnt to CDs/DVDs so that would not be lost in case you'd have to restore the system one with an earlier image...

I appreciate your thought on the issue of the placement of it in my documents. And its valid.

But, I've learned from past experiences; so I routinely use True Image and clone my drive; created a script which backs up My Documents to my second internal hard disk; another script to back up My Documents to my NAS; and then I have an Ez-Swap drive that I back up everything to montly.

So for me, one place is as secure as the next. For the moment.
