Windiag Not Starting?

Hello,
We are using 4.1.1 and have a problem with windiag (windows memory diagnostic) not booting properly. It begins the load...gets to "loading boot sector... booting..." , then it displays "remove disks or other media press any key to restart" on the same screen. When we press a key, the machine reboots to UBCD again. Any ideas?
