Ultimate Boot CD

I have updated the .dat files and mcafee loads with updated definitions, scans memory, but freezes the computer when it tries to access my hard drive, which is on d:. NTFS hard drive, but I checked the option for NTFS during startup, and it seems to access NTFS from other applications OK.

SImply put, NTFS access (using NTFSDOS) under DOS is not very stable. I will be removing it in the next release of UBCD.

In the mean time, I suggest Avira AntiVir Rescue System for a simple solution to scan NTFS partitions.

Thanks Victor, I thought it was something I was doing wrong. And thank you for all your work on the ubcd, I've been using it for years now and its helped me out a lot.
